The Annals of Churchtown / The Index

There are 260,000 words, 784 pages, 282 images and over 5,500 references in The Annals of Churchtown which was published in December 2005 by the Churchtown Village Renewal Trust. The Annals is the definitive reference book on Churchtown and a model for other local histories.

Below you will find over 5,500 references from The Annals. The task of compiling this invaluable Index was undertaken by Denis J Hickey who also compiled The Annals. The Trust and the people of Churchtown are once again grateful to Denis for this massive contribution to making our written history easily accessible to general readers and researchers.
