Balyhoura Construction also built the ultra modern 40 bed Padre Pio Nursing Home at Kerry Lane which opened in 1996.

Padre Pio Nursing Home, Churchtown built by Maurice Gilbert in 1996 and extended by him in 2000. The development of Boss Murphy's by Ballyhoura Construction was another important project.

Ballyhoura Construction Ltd is also constructing (Autumn 2003) the new Windmill Nursing Home on the Black Road.
