Churchtown
Residents in 1851
When
Sir Richard Griffith set about the task of putting a rate
on every household, a team of valuers were sent to every
house in Ireland. They came to Churchtown in the month
of February 1851. I have here before me a list of the
names of every householder who lived in Churchtown village
at that time.
